Introduction: The Fail Transaction Details Popup enables users to manage and update the status of failed transactions. Access to this feature is determined by user roles and system settings. It helps in fetching transaction details, updating status, and saving transaction records via the Stax Gateway API.

The Payment Fail Transaction Popup icon appears next to the Credit button if:
  • You have the onlinePaymentStatusUpdate role or are an Admin (SA).
  • The system property prognocis.payment.gateway.interface is set to "F".
  • Payment Transaction has failed.
Field Description:

Enter Payment Gateway Id: Enter the Gateway reference ID and click the "Fetch Details" link to retrieve transaction information from the Stax Gateway API. The system sends a request to the Stax Gateway API, returning transaction details in JSON format.

Status: You can select the transaction status from the dropdown menu, defaulting to "Fail". Changing the selection updates relevant fields.

Notes: Enter comments that must be sent with the Transaction Status.

Action Buttons:

SAVE: Click on the SAVE button on the Fail Transaction Details Popup to update Payment Transaction Status. In case the user enters an invalid Payment Gateway Id where the amount is mismatched, an error message is displayed on the popup and changes are not updated.

CLOSE: Click on the SAVE button on the Fail Transaction Details Popup to close the popup.
