Introduction: Custom messages are user-defined messages that can be used to extend the set of messages in PrognoCIS. The system, on behalf of the clinic, sends the custom messages via text messages to all patients. Patients who have a valid cellphone number saved in the system will only receive custom text messages.
Note: The user assigned with the 'Custom Text Messages' user role is able to access Custom Text Messages. Also, the user is able to create custom text messages, update them, save drafts, and send custom text messages to the patients.

Field Description:

To: This is a read-only field where the message is displayed as '(n) messages will be sent to (n) patients'. Here, 'n' is defined as the number of Message(s) and Patient(s). If no patient is selected from the Patient Filter, then by default, the patient count is for all patients available in the PrognoCIS database with a registered cellphone number.

Message 1: Enter the desired text message in the Message 1 text field. This message has a character limit of 130 characters.

Message 2: Enter the desired text message in the Message 2 text field. Text messages have a character limit of 130 characters.

Message 3: Enter the desired text message in the Message 3 text field. Text messages have a character limit of 130 characters.

Search: Click on the Search icon placed next to the character count, next to the message text area. The user can select a previously sent message from the list. The user can add a maximum of five messages from the previously saved messages under this section, but while sending messages, the maximum character count of 130 characters will be considered as mentioned above.

Patient Filter: On clicking this button, the Patient Filter pop-up is invoked. This pop-up contains filter options as columns that serve as conditions to help the user send a text message. The first column contains rows with a dropdown of filters such as First Name, Last Name, DOB, Gender, Location, etc. Users can define multiple filters by selecting another filter on a new row. In the second column, the user is required to select filter-matching criteria from the dropdown list. In the next column, the user can enter the required details of the patient according to the filter selected in the first column. Once the user clicks on the OK button, the changes are saved for those selected patients who are part of the applied filter.
