Topics Pharmacy Master Search:  
Introduction: The Pharmacy Master displays pharmacy details and also facilitates the addition of pharmacies into a clinic's database.

Field Descriptions:

*Code: This field requires the entry of the pharmacy vendor's code. It is a mandatory field.

*Name: This field displays the full name of the pharmacy vendor. This is a mandatory field.

Address button: This button allows users to enter address details of the pharmacy vendor. The entered address is displayed in the Address field below the Name field.

Regn. No: An optional registration number of the pharmacy vendor can be entered here.

Contact Title: This is the title of the contact person for the respective pharmacy vendor (e.g., Dr., Mr., Mrs., Ms.)

First Name: The first name of the contact person for the pharmacy vendor can be entered here.

Middle Name: The middle name of the contact person for the pharmacy vendor can be entered here.

Last Name: The last name of the contact person for the pharmacy vendor can be entered here.

Active Checkbox: Selecting this checkbox marks the pharmacy as active, making it available for use within the system. When the checkbox is unchecked, the record is considered inactive and will not be available for selection or use.

Action Buttons:

save button: This button saves the entered details.

delete button: This button removes the Pharmacy record from the list.

reset button: This button reverts the Pharmacy details to the previously saved values.

import button: This button can be used to import a Pharmacy from the Superscripts Pharmacy list. It opens a nationwide pharmacy database maintained by Surescripts and provided for use. This database can be filtered by state, city, and pharmacy type, including options for retail, mail-order pharmacies, and pharmacies that accept electronic prescriptions. The list includes pharmacies from Surescripts, both eRx-enabled and non-eRxenabled. If eRx-enabled, the ERXFLAG column displays ERX, else it remains blank.

Multiple pharmacies can be imported at once into the Pharmacy Master by selecting them from the popup and clicking OK. Upon importing a pharmacy, only its address details are imported; the clinic must manually add other required information.

Note: If the Pharmacy vendor is Superscripts-enabled, the message SureScript Supported is displayed at the top of the screen.
