Introduction |
Procedure Master screen is used to create new Procedure Order templates. Procedures are either ‘marked’ as In-house or External. Depending upon the option selected (In-house or External), the associated fields are displayed. For example, if In-house is selected then fields such as Procedural Checklist, Procedural Template, and Order Template are displayed and if External is selected then the fields, Procedure Checklist and Letter Template are displayed. |

*Name: Name of the Procedure. This can be like
Eye examination or Progression of Cataract. *Sex: Select the applicable gender for the Procedure; accordingly the Procedure is then available either for Male or Female or for Both genders. By default, Both option is displayed as selected. In-house/External: Procedures are categorized into types such as In-house (for procedures done within the clinic) and External (for procedures done in external clinic). Depending upon the option, In-house or External selected, the associated fields are displayed. For example, if In-house is selected then fields such as Procedural Checklist, Procedural Template, and Order Template are displayed whereas, if External is selected then the fields, Procedure Checklist and Letter Template are displayed. Procedure Checklist: A Clinic Form template marked as 'Procedure Checklist' is available in the Procedure Checklist search. *Procedural Template: A Specialty template, marked as ‘Procedural’ is available in the Procedural Template search. Note: Procedural templates created via Specialty template are of type ‘In-house’, thus relevant only for In-house Procedures. *Order Template: The (Default) Order Template is a template that is associated by default to every In-house Procedure; you have the provision to replace it with any other relevant Order template. The Order Template search has multiple order templates to choose from, these templates are of type ‘Letters’ and they are added from the Letters screen (Goto menu: Settings > click Configuration > under Output Templates, click Letters). Characteristics of a default In-house Procedure Order Template: i. Cannot be made Inactive. ii. Cannot be deleted. iii. Template name cannot be edited. iv. Text editor of the Procedure is editable. v. There is only one template available as default. *Letter Template: The Letter template search displays templates of type ‘Letters’ and added from the Letters screen (Goto menu: Settings > click Configuration > under Output Templates, click Letters). Active: The option when selected considers the Procedure as 'Active' else 'Inactive'. The system considers only active Procedures. save: Click to save the details. delete: Click to delete the record. reset: Click to reset the values to the previously saved values. *Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. |
