This option is provided to the Admin to assign a User ID and Password to all users. Also, it is likely that a user has forgotten their password and has to ask the Admin to help them out.

User Type: The following users are listed in the User Type dropdown list:
  • Users: Refers to all Medics (medics with User Types - DR, MA, RA, ST, and BL).
  • Providers: Refers only to Doctors (medics with User Type DR).
  • Medical Assistant: Refers only to Medical Assistants (medics with User Type MA).
  • Clinical Staff: Refers only to Clinical Staff (medics with User Type RN).
  • Office Staff: Refers only to Office Staff (medics with User Type ST).
  • Biller: Refers only to Billers (medics with User Type BL). This option is available when Billing is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Patient: Refers to Patients in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Patient Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Guarantor: Refers to Guarantors or Responsible Persons in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Patient Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Ref Provider: Refers to Referring Providers in PrognoCIS (medics with User Type RD). This option is available when the Referring Provider Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Attorney: Refers to Attorneys in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Attorney Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Employer: Refers to Employers in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Employer Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Employer User: Refers to Employer Users of the Employers in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Employer Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Hospital: Refers to Hospitals in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Hospital Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.
  • Hospital User: Refers to Hospital Users of the Hospitals in PrognoCIS. This option is available when the Hospital Portal feature is turned on in PrognoCIS.

User Name: On clicking the Search binocular icon against the User Name field, a search pop-up is invoked, such as:
  • If the User Type selected is a medic (i.e., Users, Providers, Medical Assistant, Clinical Staff, Office Staff, Biller, or Ref Provider), then the Medics search pop-up is invoked.
  • If the User Type is Patient, then the Patients search pop-up is invoked.
  • If the User Type is Guarantor, then the Guarantor search pop-up is invoked.
  • If the User Type is Attorney, then the Attorney-User search pop-up is invoked.
  • If the User Type is Employer, then the Employers search pop-up is invoked.
  • If the User Type is Employer User, then the Employer Users search pop-up is invoked.

User ID: Displays the default User ID. However, it can be changed if required. Whenever a new Medic is created, the User ID and Password for the respective user are generated automatically.

Email ID: Displays the registered email ID of the selected user. If the email ID is not present, then it will be displayed as blank.

AutoGenerate: If this is checked, the password is auto-generated (note that the fields to enter the password are disabled). This checkbox is displayed as enabled only if the user's email address is present. Also, the availability of this checkbox is dependent on the property, login.autogen.password.

New Password and Re-enter New Password: Enter the new password for the user. If an email address is present, then the User ID/Password will be sent via email. The criteria for the password are based on the properties,
log.password.alpha.rule and log.password.min.length.
After these are changed, when the user logs in with this new password, the user is forced to change the password if the property gen.pswd.change.notmust is set to OFF.

Access IPs: Enter the comma-separated list of IP addresses of the systems from which the respective user can access PrognoCIS or related portals.

Access to location(s): This selection of radio button options enables the user to successfully log in to the respective applicable location(s).
The interface depends on the permitted rights for the user and is set up for a Multi-Location Clinic by the System Admin.

Own: If set to Own, the user can log in at their default location.

Other: If set to Other, a pop-up with a list box of all applicable locations is displayed by clicking the "..." button. The user can select the required location(s).

State: If set to State, a pop-up with a list box of locations in the applicable states is displayed by clicking the "..." button. The user can select the required state(s) to log in to all of the locations in those respective states.

All: If set to All, a pop-up with a list box of all locations is displayed by clicking the "..." button. The user can select the required location(s).
