PrognoCIS has a unique concept of designing documents using tags that can be used for a variety of purposes, including: Progress Notes Forms Letters Lab Order Printing Radiology Order Printing Prescription Order Guidelines Most of the above documents will have a different layout and content in every clinic, and/or every doctor will have their own preferences. Progress Notes / Letters can be designed for the whole clinic as well as for a specific doctor. (The others are necessarily for the clinic). The Edit screen facilitates designing an HTML document for the above-defined purpose. The toolbar is like a Word toolbar, and any user familiar with Windows would understand the significance of all buttons with minimal effort. The user is expected to enter text as they need it, and use fonts and colors in the document. The Transcription Tags List Box is the most important field. With the cursor at the required position in the letter, select any field from the List Box, e.g., Thank you for referring [PT_FULL_NAME] to me. The above line shows how a sentence in the Progress Notes can be constructed. Now, when this template is used in an Encounter, the tag will be replaced with the name of the concerned patient, and the notes will be displayed / printed as Thank you for referring Mr. John Smith to me.
