If the image code ends in the character "1", the system understands that there are images with the image code ending in 1, 2, 3... and so on. The system reads all these images and presents them as a slide show. This becomes very useful to explain to patients procedures like cataract removal and angioplasty. There are no constraints on the number of sequential images that could be defined for the slide show. The system is also smart enough to recognize if any intermediate image is missing, and it will jump across it.

This screen starts off by displaying all the images in the slide show one after the other. The pause between two slides is set in the property Illustrations > illustrations.slideshow.time. The original images are resized proportionately to be accommodated within the available size of the pop-up. Notice that the cursor has changed to a pencil. If the user clicks on the image, the slide show will stop. The user may draw lines on the current image. The navigation buttons on the toolbar allow the user to navigate between the different images. Clicking the Start button replays the slide show from the first image.

The system has a provision to draw a polygon. To emphasize an area, the user can click on the image. A line will be drawn connecting each subsequent click position. The user may click the Palette icon on the toolbar to select an alternate line color. The default line thickness and color are set in the property Illustrations > illustrations.draw.stroke and Illustrations > illustrations.draw.color. The lines drawn here are only for explanation and are not saved. Click the Clear button to remove the lines drawn.
