Topics Report Design Search:
The user could be interested in a Matrix Report, which includes the results of Vitals, HPI, ROS, Physical, Specialty, Social History, Lab, as well as Radiology. Since the number of tests in the database is too large, the user would need the results of only specific tests. This set of tests, in turn, will depend upon multiple criteria. Hence, this concept of a Matrix Report Designer. This is used only as part of Face Sheet definitions.

Report No.: It is an auto-generated serial number.

Report Name: User-defined.

Tests: Click the "+" button to select the required tests. The search displays the type of test, namely Vitals, HPI, ROS, Physical, Specialty, Social History, Lab, as well as Radiology. For Lab and Radiology, only tests for which results are applicable are considered (Panels and HL7 Order Tests are ignored). The sequence number can be changed so as to position the tests on the required row. The title is, by default, the first ten characters of the test name. The user can edit this. These will appear as the test names in the Matrix Report.

Filter Criteria: All the Filter Criteria are evaluated together with a logical AND to decide whether a particular encounter is considered for this report.

Consider Encounter of Last X Days: Enter a three-digit number of days for the last encounter to be considered.

Consider Encounter:
All Encounters of This Patient.

Health Status Same as of This Encounter: If the doctor is investigating the History of Current Problem, they can select this option so that only those encounters having the same health status code as that of the current encounter will be considered.

Specific Health Status Code: On selecting this option, the user is allowed to select a specific health status code. Only encounters having the same health status code will be considered.

Consider Only Numeric Test Results: Test results can be both text as well as numeric. If this field is checked, only numeric test results will be considered.

Consider Only Abnormal Test Results: If the test results are outside the prescribed range, the system marks an abnormal flag. This flag can also be explicitly set/reset by the attending doctor. If this is checked, only the test results with the abnormal flag on will be considered.

Encounter Date Sorted By: Test results can be printed in ascending or descending order of the encounter date.

Encounter Date Format: Enter a suitable date format for printing encounter dates using keywords like DD, MM, YY, YYYY, and MON (e.g., MM-DD-YYYY, MON YY).

Test Names in Matrix: By default, the Matrix Report is generated with tests along rows and dates along columns, and results in each cell. If the second radio button is selected, the Matrix Report is generated with dates along rows and tests along columns, and results in each cell.
