Introduction: The Scheduled Process, Appointment Reminder Emails (APPT_REMINDER_EMAILS) is a part of the Standard Process List present on Settings Scheduled Process screen on the EMR side.

Field Description:

* Subject: Enter the subject line to be sent with Appointment Reminder Emails. This is a mandatory field.

* Day(s) prior to Appointment for sending reminder: Specify the number of days before which the Appointment Reminder Emails must be sent. This is a mandatory field.

Comma separated encounter types for exclusion: This field has a Search icon which opens the ENCOUNTER TYPE Search List, allowing users to select up to 50 encounter types for exclusion. You can leave this field blank if no exclusions are needed. The encounter type codes are displayed in the field next to the label. If the number of selected encounter types exceeds the visible field limit, a tooltip displays the complete list. Next to the Search icon, a Remove Encounter icon allows you to open a List of Selected Encounters popup and remove specific encounter types from the exclusion list.
