Vendors denote the following types of companies: Laboratories – Places where pathological tests are done. Radiologists - Places where radiology tests such as MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, etc., are done. Pharmacies – Retail stores from which patients collect drugs. Registration Number: The number with which the vendor is registered at the clinic. HL7 App (Application Code) and HL7 Facility can be specified for Labs and Rads if the orders/results are going to be exchanged with the clinic using HL7 version 2.3 for messaging. Contact the Support team for further details. The information of the contact person is also stored along with the vendor's name and address. A vendor cannot be deleted if there are any orders associated with them in the Clinical Information System. The system can be configured (refer to the PrognoCIS Properties Setup) to allow login to one or more types of vendors (Labs / Radiologists / Pharmacies). If this is applicable to the current vendor, upon adding a new record, the login information (namely, the User ID and Password) is automatically generated by the system and sent to the vendor via email. Hence, it is necessary to define the address of the vendor while defining their demographic data.
