| Prognocis uses the Industry standard Comprehensive
Drug Database from First Data Bank. The list of all Drug codes is close
to 40000. Depending on the specialty of the Doctor he is likely to use a
very limited set. It is possible to create a list of his preferred codes
by selecting the required ones from the complete list. This way while prescribing
he gets to select a code from his limited list. Of cource he always has
an option to select a code from the comprehensive list if required. This list can be created specific to each Doctor by going to Settings > My Preferences> Drugs option when the Doctor has logged in. In clinics where all Doctors are of the same specialty, it is possible to create a Clinic specific list of Drug Codes by going to the Settings > Configuration > Clinic > Pref Drug option. This list is shared by all Doctors, so that common codes need to be selected only once. While assigning Drug codes in Prescription of an encounter, the list of Doctors Preferred + Clinic Preferred Drug codes are shown together. Count: Displays the number of times this Drug Code was used (in Prescription) in the last six months. |
