Main
Menu Tabs
Click the main menu tabs on the screen: Appointments, Patient, CPOE, Mail,
Graph, and Settings, to navigate the application. Each of these menu tabs is
explained in detail on its respective Help page.
Appointments: The Appointments tab is a
powerful scheduling feature. It allows you to schedule or reschedule
patients, set your work pattern, and choose vacations.
Patient: The Patient feature
allows you to maintain patient information, including registration, insurance,
and encounter details.
CPOE: The CPOE feature allows
you to order lab or radiology tests and prescribe medication. It also allows
you to store the results for future reference.
Messages: The Mail feature is an internal
messaging system that facilitates quick communication within the practice.
Report: The Graph feature facilitates
graphical analytics on the test results received.
Settings: The Settings tab is the
system configuration feature. The entire system can be customized to suit
your practice's needs.
The table in the upper-left corner of your screen displays the number of Alerts,
Notifications, Priority Mail, and Normal Mail in your Inbox.
Inbox: Click the Inbox to view
the messages awaiting your attention. You can also access it by clicking Mail
-> Inbox.
Switch to
Billing: Click  to switch from EMR to Billing.
Online Help: PrognoCIS provides
help for every screen to guide users. Click Online Help to view the entire
Help documentation. Click the question mark button at the top right of the
rounded rectangle to invoke Help for a specific screen.

Logout: Click Logout to log
out of the system.
