Introduction: The Telemedicine practice is growing rapidly across the USA and a Provider from one State may have a license to practice telemedicine in several other states. In PrognoCIS, the allowed licensed states to perform telemedicine service is captured on the Allowed States for Telemed popup for a Provider.
![]() Field Description: Sel column: The Sel column includes the checkboxes for selection of the states displayed next to the Sel column. The user can select multiple states at a time. States column: The States column displays the list of the allowed states to perform Telemedicine service in the format State Code - State Name (E.g. CA - California). This column includes a list of states displayed in alphabetical order of the State name. On selecting the State from the popup, the selected states are displayed on the top rows. If the Provider has mentioned the State in the Address field on the Provider Master screen, then the Home State as a suffix is displayed for that State. For example: Provider Home State is New York then against this state New York in bracket (Home States) is displayed. If the provider does not have the State defined in the Address field on the Provider Master screen, then the Clinic’s State is considered as Home State for that provider. Also, when the Provider Home State is selected as the allowed state for service from this popup then that state is displayed on the top of the displayed states list. If the user unchecks the checkbox for the Home State, then the suffix remains the same as Home State, but the state is moved to the bottom row, and it is displayed in the list as per alphabetical order of the State. ![]() ![]() |
