Allowed States for Telemed
Search:
Introduction: Telemedicine practice is growing rapidly across the USA, and a provider from one state may have a license to practice telemedicine in several other states. In PrognoCIS, the allowed licensed states to perform telemedicine services are captured on the Allowed States for Telemed popup for a provider.

Note: The user can open this popup only when the property prognocis.telemed.timezone.enable is turned on and the selected provider is a Telemedicine Provider.

Field Description:

Sel Column: The Sel column includes checkboxes for selecting the states displayed next to the Sel column. The user can select multiple states at a time.

States Column: The States column displays the list of allowed states to perform telemedicine services in the format State Code - State Name (e.g., CA - California). This column includes a list of states displayed in alphabetical order of the state name. On selecting a state from the popup, the selected states are displayed in the top rows.
If the provider has specified the state in the Address field on the Provider Master screen, then "Home State" is displayed as a suffix for that state. For example: If the provider's Home State is New York, then "New York (Home State)" is displayed. If the provider does not have a state defined in the Address field on the Provider Master screen, then the clinic's state is considered as the Home State for that provider.
Also, when the provider's Home State is selected as the allowed state for service from this popup, that state is displayed at the top of the states list. If the user unchecks the checkbox for the Home State, the suffix remains "Home State", but the state is moved to the bottom row, and is displayed in the list in alphabetical order.

OK Button: Click the OK button to save the changes made on the Allowed States for Telemed popup. When the user returns to this popup after saving the changes, the previously selected states are retained, and the user can uncheck or add new states as required.

Cancel Button: Click the Cancel button to close the Allowed States for Telemed popup.
