PrognoCIS Help: IE 8 Settings

The following settings need to be configured to run multiple PrognoCIS instances as multiple users on a single computer running IE8:

Open the IE8 browser, go to File > click New Session, and then start the PrognoCIS application. This way, multiple PrognoCIS browsers can be used with different logins,

OR

Create an IE8 shortcut on the desktop, right-click > Properties > click the 'Shortcut' tab, and add "-nomerge" to the end of the text under Target.

For example:

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Replace with:

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nomerge

Note: In the case of IE8, the following alert message will be displayed by default on the PrognoCISTM login page:

"Refer to PrognoCIS Help IE8-Settings for multi-login on a single system."
