Topics Drug Name Search:
Prognocis uses the Drug Database from First Data Bank (FDB), which has the comprehensive definition of generic/branded and dispensable drugs. A clinic can, however, choose not to use the FDB database. In this case, the clinic will have to define the drug names as well as their dispensable details. The admin-level property rx.drug.useFDB when set to Off allows user to perform modifications on the Drug Master screen. If the property rx.drug.useFDB is set to Of and the Clinic Location is set to the US, then on running the monthly FDB Import Process, the property is turned On so that the user is not able to modify the standard FDB Drugs.
