Each doctor has a list of frequently recommended
tests depending on their specialization. The system has a provision whereby
each doctor can select the lab tests to be included in their list of preferences.
This comes in handy when the doctor wants to order a test. The Lab Order module will display the Doctor's Preferred Tests followed by all the other tests. The doctor thus needs to focus primarily on the initial part of the list; they do not need to scroll, thus making lab ordering easier and faster.
This page lists all the tests defined in the system. The doctor can simply
check the tests to be included in their preference list. |
