Introduction:
The data export functionality is used by clients who are moving to another EMR and require their data to be exported.
Patient's data is exported from the Data Export Master screen on the EMR side in PrognoCIS.
Upon clicking the Data Export link on the Configuration screen, the Export Patient Data popup is invoked.
A message is always shown in red and bold on the popup, which reads:
Contact a Tech Support person. Old exported data is present and will be overwritten.
Single Patient: When a user assigned the CuresEHIExport user role logs into PrognoCIS and navigates to the Data Export link, the Single Patient radio button is selected by default for that user. This radio button ensures that data is exported for a single patient. Click the All Patients: When a user without the CuresEHIExport user role assigned to them (an Admin) logs into PrognoCIS and navigates to the Data Export link, the All Patients radio button is selected by default for that user. All options are enabled for this user. This radio button ensures that data is exported for all patients. Selected Patients: Select this radio button and click the Patients of Primary Provider: Select this radio button and select a Primary Provider from the dropdown to export data for patients with the selected Primary Provider. Patients of Attending Provider: Select this radio button and select an Attending Provider from the dropdown to export data for patients with the selected Attending Provider. Encounters of Attending Provider: Select this radio button and select an Attending Provider from the dropdown to export data for patients who have encounters with the selected Attending Provider. Patient Last Name From-Upto: Enter the From and Upto keywords for the Patient Last Name. Data for patients specified in the entered range will be exported. Data Export for Patient from SQL File: Select this radio button to export data for patients from an SQL file. Send Email To: Enter the email address to which the data export emails must be sent. Include Deleted Encounters (Use with caution): Select this checkbox to ensure that data from deleted encounters is also considered for export. Reason for Data Export: Enter the reason for data export in this field. This is an alphanumeric field that also supports special characters. The character limit for this field is 50 characters. Encounter Date Range From: Specify the encounter date from which the patient data must be considered for export. The date can either be entered manually in the field or selected from the calendar. Upto: Specify the encounter date up to which the patient data must be considered for export. The date can either be entered manually in the field or selected from the calendar. Check All: Select this checkbox to automatically select all the options listed below that must be considered for data export. Insurance Master: Select this checkbox to export only active insurances or those used in patient insurance. Medics: Select this checkbox to export active medics of types Providers (DR), Medical Assistant (MA), Clinical Staff (RN), Office Staff (ST), and Billing Staff (BL). Referring Provider: Select this checkbox to export active referring providers and inactive providers used in patient registration or encounters. Medics of type RD are considered, whereas ZE and ZR types are not considered. A provider of type RD can also be assigned as a Referring Doc; however, these DR-type providers are not exported. Adjusters: Select this checkbox to export active insurance adjusters and active medics of types Providers (DR), Medical Assistant (MA), Clinical Staff (RN), Office Staff (ST), and Billing Staff (BL). Attorneys: Select this checkbox to export the attorney's information. Employers: Select this checkbox to export the employer's information. Guarantor: Select this checkbox to export the guarantor's information. Patient Demographics: Select this checkbox to export the patient's basic demographic information. Patient Insurance: Select this checkbox to export Patient's insurance information, such as Patient Name, Insurance Name, Plan ID, Group Number, etc. There is no subfolder for this. Vaccination: Select this checkbox to export the vaccine records that were administered using the options 'Vaccination on this visit' and 'Vaccination not associated with this visit'. The scheduled vaccines are exported. The vaccines that are 'Not Tracked', 'Refused by Patient', and 'Refused by Clinic' are not exported. Once a vaccine is inactivated, it is no longer available for further selection. However, if this vaccine was administered, it is exported. Health Maintenance: Select this checkbox to export Health Maintenance details for tests that are in Due or Tentative states. The history is not exported. The types of tests for which data is exported are: Lab / Rad / Consult / Procedure. Family History: Select this checkbox to export the latest family history data for patients. Past Medical Hist: Select this checkbox to export Past Medical History data as per the latest encounter status for patients. Ailments are also exported. Surgery: Select this checkbox to export the surgical history records of the patient. This data is exported as per the Face Sheet data for the patient. Allergy: Select this checkbox to export the allergy data of the patient. This data is exported as per the Face Sheet data for the patient. Current Medication: Select this checkbox to export current medication data as per the latest encounter status for patients. Social History: Select this checkbox to export the social history records of the patient. Social history data is exported as per the latest encounter status for patients. Legal Documents: Select this checkbox to export patient records that have one or more legal documents attached to their account in PrognoCIS. It typically lists the patient's basic information and legal record-related information as entered in PrognoCIS. If the documents are in HTML, they are converted to PDF; otherwise, they are copied as is. Other Documents: Select this checkbox to export patient records that have one or more other documents attached to their record in PrognoCIS. It typically lists the patient's basic information and other document-related information as entered in PrognoCIS. Enc Attach Docs: Select this checkbox to export the patient's basic information and other document-related information as entered in PrognoCIS. Old Progress Notes: Select this checkbox to export all documents (DocType: OPA) attached to the patient's account. If the documents are in HTML, they are converted to PDF; otherwise, they are copied as is. Messages: Select this checkbox to export all patient messages that are added to the patient's record from the Messages Compose screen. Future Appointments: Select this checkbox to export all patient appointments for future dates with a visit status of Scheduled or Tentative. Vitals: Select this checkbox to export vitals recorded as of the latest encounter. Diagnosis Codes: Select this checkbox to export diagnosis codes as per the assessment in the patient's encounter. CPT Codes: Select this checkbox to export CPT codes as per the assessment in the patient's encounter. HCPCS Codes: Select this checkbox to export HCPCS codes as per the assessment in the patient's encounter. CCD: Select this checkbox to export the CCD details. Prescriptions: Select this checkbox to export the Rx details of the patient. All drugs ever prescribed for the patient in PrognoCIS are exported. Lab Results: Select this checkbox to export all received lab results. Rad Results: Select this checkbox to export all received radiology results. Procedure Orders: Select this checkbox to export orders with the status Entered, Approved, or Ordered, with an output file consisting of the data as per the Order Template. Orders with the status R.C (Result Received / Complete) are exported with an output file consisting of the data as per the Result Template and all attachments. Consults: Select this checkbox to export orders with the status Entered, Approved, or Ordered, with an output file consisting of the data as per the Order Template. Orders with the status R.C (Result Received / Complete) are exported with an output file consisting of the data as per the Result Template and all attachments. Enc Progress Notes: Select this checkbox to export patient visit records. It typically lists the patient's basic information and the visit/encounter record-related information available in PrognoCIS. The progress notes (My Notes) along with the attached progress notes are exported only for encounters that are closed. If multiple My Notes are created, only the default My Note is exported. Procedure Notes: Select this checkbox to export patient records that have procedures attached to their account in PrognoCIS. Procedure note documents for non-zero duration encounters are exported. Letters: Select this checkbox to export patient records that have one or more Letter-In and Letter-Out records attached to their record. All letters sent out with the status 'Sent' or incoming letters attached to the patient's record are exported. Any attachments with outgoing letters are not exported. All Vitals: Select this checkbox to export vitals from all previous encounters for the patient. Lab Test Result Values: Select this checkbox to export all lab orders for patients. Lab results with the status 'Results Received / Complete' are considered. Results for deleted encounters are also considered. Tests without results are ignored. Patient Cases: Select this checkbox to export the list of patients and their cases. Patient Notes: Select this checkbox to export all patient notes saved for a patient. Patient Alert: Select this checkbox to export all patient alerts except those that are deleted. Past Appointments: Select this checkbox to export all patient appointments of current and previous dates with the visit status Scheduled, Tentative, Arrived, With Nurse, With MA, For MA, With Doc, Complete, Ready for Nurse, Ready for Doc, Ready for Checkout, or Ready for Review. Custom Documents: Select this checkbox to export all custom documents of the document types defined in the property, custom.doclist.type.names. RFA Response: Select this checkbox to export all RFA response documents from the PreAuth Tracking screen. RFA Data: Select this checkbox to export RFA data. Address Book: Select this checkbox to export the details present on the Address Book Master screen. Patient Forms: Select this checkbox to export the details present on the Patient Forms Master screen. UDF: Select this checkbox to export the details present on the UDF popup for the screens selected in the property, udf.supported.types. Billing Ledger: Select this checkbox to export the ledger for the Run Date. Billing Claims: Select this checkbox to export all billed claims for the patient. Billing Charges: Select this checkbox to export all billed claims and their charges for the patient. Patient Advance: Select this checkbox to export all outstanding patient advance entries. Statements: Select this checkbox to export the statements for the Run Date. Remittance Attachments: Select this checkbox to export all details present on the View Attachment Data Export Password: Enter a valid password in this field to export data. Action Buttons: |
