Introduction: At the time when a Lab Test is ordered, the information is collected by the clinic staff, such as the date/time the last food/drink was taken by the Patient and when the sample was collected. The purpose of creating this popup is to let the User add this information under the Collection Details Popup while collecting the Lab Sample. Along with adding the collection date and time for the Lab Test, the User can also add the information of food/drink taken by the Patient. The User can also add/edit the collection date and time of the Lab Samples as required.

Order Date: The Lab Order date, which is captured on the Lab Order screen while creating the Lab Order, is displayed in the Order Date field.

Collection Date/Time: The User can select the Collection Date from the Calendar icon in MM/DD/YY format or enter the date manually. If the User selects an Apply To option, such as All Collection Date/Time or All Food/Drink Date/Time or Blank option first without selecting the Collection Date, a validation is displayed on the screen as 'Please Select the Date Before Apply'.

Time Stamp: To add the Lab sample's timestamp, click on the Time Stamp icon while adding the Collection Date.

Apply To: When the User lands on the Collection Details Popup, the 'Selected' option is selected by default. Upon selecting the required Apply To option, the date for the selected option is applied; i.e., if All Collection Date/Time is selected, then the collection date mentioned under Collection Date/Time is applied to all the Lab Tests available in the list. Below is the list of options.
  1. Selected: When the User lands on the Collection Details Popup, the Selected radio button is selected by default. If the User wishes to add the Lab Sample or Food/Drink collection date for a single test, then first check either of the options (i.e., Collection Date/Time or Food/Drink Date/Time) from the table as required, and then enter the Collection Date/Time in the Collection Date/Time field.
  2. All Collection Date/Time: If this radio button is selected, the date mentioned in the Collection Date field is set as the collection date for all the Lab Tests available in this Popup; i.e., all the checkboxes are checked and the date is added under the Collection Date/Time column.
  3. All Food/Drink Date/Time: If this radio button is selected, the date mentioned in the Collection Date field is set as the collection date for all the Lab Tests available in this Popup; i.e., all the checkboxes are checked and the date is added under the Food/Drink Date/Time column.
  4. Blank: If this radio button is selected, then the Collection Date mentioned in the Collection Date/Time field is displayed for all the Lab Test records which are blank.
