Topics Addendum Search:
The Addendum feature allows you to add notes to an encounter after it has been closed. By default, an Addendum can be added only to the most recently closed encounter, not to earlier ones. However, if the admin-level property edit.allencounters.addendum is set to On from the Properties Master screen, the Addendum option becomes available for all previously closed encounters, allowing notes to be added more flexibly.

Once an encounter is closed, no changes can be made to the existing information entered for that encounter, though notes for all closed encounters can still be viewed. The Addendum feature is useful for adding information that may have been inadvertently left out or forgotten. Addendum notes can be appended but not edited, and each entry is automatically stamped with the user name and date/time of the addition.

Use the Addendum Notes field to enter additional comments or clarifications related to the selected encounter. A Search button is available, allowing you to select from a list of previously saved Addendum phrases. These predefined phrases can be inserted directly into the notes field to save time and maintain consistency in documentation.
