Prognocis uses the Drug Database from First Data Bank (FDB). This has the comprehensive definition of Generic / Branded and their Dispensable drugs. A clinic can however choose not to use FDB database. In this case the clinic will have to define the drug names as well as their Dispensable Details.
Name: Enter the drug name. All Drugs are primarily searched by this drug name.
Rx Norm Code: Enter the Rx Norm Code for the given drug.
RxNorm is a catalog of the standard names given to clinical drugs and drug delivery devices. The name of each drug is a compilation of its active ingredients, strength and form. Each combination, therefore, has a unique RxNorm name.
Brand: Select the checkbox to add the drug in
the branded drugs List box.
Active: Select the checkbox if the drug has to be made visible.
Only InHouse: Select the checkbox to add the drug in
the InHouse generic drugs list.
Compound Drug : Select the checkbox to add the drug in
the compound drugs list.
Custom : Select the checkbox if the drug is to be displayed under custome drug list.
Beerslist : Select the checkbox if the drug is to be displayed under Beerslist drug list box.

Dispensable Details : This table provides the list of Dispensable
drugs (Route + Strength + Dosage form) for the drug name selected.
Specifications : Enter drug specifications.
Rx Code : Enter Rx code for the drug.
NDC Code : Enter NDC code for the drug.
Inactive : Select the checkbox to
mark drug as inactive.
DEA Class: The column consists of editable text-field wherein you can enter or edit DEA Class details for custom drugs.
Note: The property, allow.customdrug.toeRx if set as ‘Y' then allows Users to send custom drugs via eRx depending upon their DEA class.
save: Click the button to save the record in PrognoCIS.
reset : Click the button to reset the recently entered changes in the record before it was saved. |
