PROGNOCIS has a unique concept of designing documents
using a word-processor style interface. This uses Tags, which can get used
for a variety of purposes, including:
The interface used to create document template has buttons with tool-tips to guide you in creating templates. These templates are defined in terms of the Tags, Fonts and colors. Since most of the features are common to most word-processing software in use nowadays, it is easy to use. Use Page Layout: If this is checked the system uses the htmls for header, footer, left and right margins while printing the template. Buttons: Three search are provided to select Tags,
Lab / Rad / Rx / Encounter Report template: The nature of this template is slightly different from the Progress Notes. This is transaction oriented. We need a header in terms of Clinic / Doc / Patient Name, Address and other details. This is followed by detail lines for each test ordered / drug prescribed. This is achieved by printing repeatedly all defined details Tags between two special tags START and END.
Labs can have specific formats in which they require the Lab orders. Lab Order or Rad Order Templates can be defined for a specific Vendor. If no vendor is specified then the template is assumed to be generic. Generic templates are used if Lab Order / Rad Order is not for a specific Vendor, or if there is no template defined for the selected Vendor. While printing a Prescription for In House Drugs, it will use any Prescription Order with word "InHouse" in them. A copy of an existing Template can be created using the "save as..." button. Fillable Form Template: Fillable PDF Forms are electronically generated PDFs forms with filled in values coming from patient’s encounter; thus ensuring speed and accuracy. Currently, PrognoCIS supports the following group of forms from the states of New York and Florida: - Doctor’s Initial Report, C-4; - Doctor’s Progress Report, C-4.2; - Florida Worker’s Compensation – DWC25 Fillable Forms are designed in such a way that data is pulled from encounters or patient’s records using relevant tags. The field name and its relevant tags are pipe (|) separated. Fillable forms templates are available on following screens:
