PrognoCIS Help: Specialty

Search:

There are elements which are applicable to the specialty of the Doctor. e.g. An Obgyn would need details on Gravida, Para, LMP. The Doctor can create a template with elements applicable to his specialty, and accept the Patient details during the encounter.

The specialty of the attending doctor is shown on the Face sheet and the Encounter TOC options.

Template: Select the required templates from the list of Doctor specific and Clinic specific templates.

template List:

Template Names: The list of all templates selected is shown here. Click on any row to make a Template current.

Check Mark: A check mark appears before the Template name if one or more tests are selected (all are selected by default).

Tests:

Click on any Template in the table to make it current. The background changes to a different color. To the right a list of elements appear corresponding to the selected Template and the tests applicable to the sex of the patient. The user can enter all details for the elements listed.

when the result type is 'master search' and its value is 'ICD', the ICD10 information is displayed in the tooltip.

Note: Notes can also be entered with more details about the System. Click on the Phrases icon to select from the list of pre defined Phrases and add them to the notes. The different types of Phrases used in PrognoCIS are displayed as per category. User can perform search based on the Category, phrase title and/or textual search or search based on keywords. User can insert a single or multiple phrases by selecting single or multiple checkboxes.

Having done this, Click on Save.

Copy button: This Button is available at all times, but will be enabled only if Encounter is Live OR User has modify rights OR Save Button is disabled. Click on this to invoke a relevant search.
It will display a List of Encounters for the Patient with Procedure Names.
The Procedure Template and its associated Tests will be copied, only if the selected Procedure Template was not present in the current encounter.
Note: If a Procedure / Complaint used in the past encounter is flagged as Inactive, then the entry will not appear in the Search List.

Grid Tests:

When the template contains Grid defined system, it enables the "Grid Tests.." button shown next to the template selection. Clicking on the button, opens up a popup with matrix of selected tests and occurrences.
