| When Rad results are receieved and entered by the
Nurse, an alert is sent to the Doctor for approval. When the Doctor views
the results, he could need a number of tasks to be performed approving the
results entered. This action list needs to be communicated to the concern
staff. The action could be e.g. Inform Patient immediately, repeat the tests. Action: Select the required action from the list box. Actions can be defined under the Settings > Configuration > GroupTypes option. To: The ordering Doctor's assistant is shown by default, otherwise the attending nurse, otherwise any Nurse assigned to the Doctor. Added Notes: Since it is expected that this action to be done and action taken will be communicated back and forth, it is important to keep a track of all relevant communication. The earlier entered details for the same Lab result action are shown in this read only edit control. Add Notes: Type in the necessary messages or select standard messages by clicking on the search button. Open: If this is checked the message will remain open (pending action) until the receiver of the message acknowledges and closes the action. Approve: The Rad result from the main page will get approved if this is checked. Send Mail:If this is checked the message will be sent to the receiver selected in the To field above. Review: If this Check Box is checked then the content in the Notes Text Area gets added to the Rad Result Review. Add to Patient Medical Records: If this Check Box is checked then the content in the Notes Text Area gets added to the Patient Records in Patient Notes. |
