Introduction

  The release note describes the various new features and enhancements carried out in Version 2.0 Build 10 of PrognoCISTM; with the specifications and UI details wherever applicable.

A newly added tag to print Referring Doctor Details

 

•  Earlier with the Encounter tag, Appointment Report ( GoTo tab: Appointment Appointment Report ) carried limited details of             Referring Doctor. Now with the introduction of a new tag: PT_REF_DOC$ it is possible to print Referring Doctor related additional       details in the report and wherever required.

•  Usage - After the $ sign add any of the following values with a prefix of ADD_ , for example, TITLE, DISPLAY_NAME, FNAME,                   LNAME, MNAME, SPECIALTY, QUALIFICATION, UPIN, NPI, TAXONOMY, DEA and address Tags.

Note: A Patient is assigned a Referring doctor from the registration screen ( GoTo tab: Patient Register field: Ref Doctor )

Pre-Auth Number related enhancements

 

GoTo tab: Patient Register Insurance popup Insurance Pre-Authorization No. button Insurance Pre-Authorizations popup .

i. Support for unlimited pre-Auth No.

A patient can have unlimited entry of pre-Auth No. The Insurance Pre- Authorizations pop-up initially displays 5 rows of pre-Auth No., After a User enters the fifth record and saves the details then the next time when User accesses the popup, additionally 5 more blank rows are added for usage.

ii. Newly added column

A newly added column, Initial Used keeps track of initially used (if any) pre-Auth numbers that a patient may have used before the patient record was imported in PrognoCIS. By default the value displayed is zero. Refer to the following figure

Note: Once utilized, the field remains disabled and unavailable for editing.

iii. Association to procedural code(s):

It is possible to associate each pre-Auth No. to procedural code (CPT and/or HCPC). A new Search icon: has been provided alongside column: Proc_code from where User can select multiple CPT and/or HCPC codes to be associated with the selected pre-Auth number. The search icon invokes a popup: CPT/HCPC that displays a combined view of CPT and HCPC codes. Refer to the following figure

 iv. Multi-select of pre-Auth Nos. now possible from Appointment Schedule screen

From the current version it is possible to select multiple pre-Auth numbers for a single Insurance, at the time of scheduling patient's appointment. Refer to the following figure.

Note: The report displays information such as Patient's Name; Date of Appointment; Time of Appointment; Patient's arrival time; Provider's Name

Phrases are now enhanced to accept ‘unlimited’ characters

•  Phrases have now been enhanced to accept unlimited characters.

•  Also, Notes fields found on Notes Tab of Assessment screen (GoTo patient Encounter TOC Assessment) are now enhanced to accept unlimited characters.

Note: The Template level notes not the ICD notes still support a limit of 5000 character entry.

New tags introduced to print Pharmacy Name and Address on templates, forms, and Progress Notes

 

Two new tags, [RX_PHARMACY__NAME] and [RX_PHARMACY__ADDRESS$] have been introduced in the current version to print Pharmacy name and address details on templates, forms, and Progress Notes.

Usage of tag, [RX_PHARMACY__ADDRESS$] - After the $ sign add any of the following values,

SL to print address in Single line
ML to print address in multiple lines
LINE1 to print Address Line 1
LINE2

to print Address Line 2

LINE3 to print Address Line 3
CITY to print City name
STATE to print State name
ZIP to print the zip code
WORKTEL1 to print work telephone number (first)
WORKTEL2 to print work telephone number (second)
HOMETEL to print home telephone number
FAX to print the FAX number
CELLPHONE to print the cell phone number
EMAIL

to print the email address

STATE_NAME to print the State name
LINE12 to print address Line 1 and Line 2 together
CSZ to print City, State, and Zip information together
